We are looking for a casual babysitter to care for our 2.5 year old daughter once or twice a fortnight, likely on a Friday or Saturday evening or on Saturday/Sunday afternoons. Our daughter is happy, independent and full of energy. She loves trips to the playground, tea parties with her teddies, drawing, stories and imaginative play. We’re based in Fitzroy North, close to the high street and Edinburgh gardens, so there’s plenty within easy walking distance. The role would include engaging her in play, preparing or heating up a simple dinner, managing bath time if needed, and handling bedtime (stories, settling and put-down). We’re looking for someone experienced with toddlers, calm and attentive, and ideally available on an ongoing basis. If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

Hi, We are looking for a dedicated, fun- loving person who is available to commit to a minimum of 12 months role (preferably 24 months), looking after my 8.5 year old son. He has special needs and attends a Specialist School, but he Does Not have any Physical, Speech or Cognitive Disability. He is funny, cheeky, fully toilet trained and articulate, and loves interacting with his peers and educators. He also attends after school care 2 to 3 days a week, so we can be flexible with your sessions on those afternoons, if needed you can have those afternoons off. Job details: 1. 1st Priority: school drop-offs minimum 4 days/ week (minimum 1 hour between 7:30-9am, Tuesday to Friday 2. 2nd priority, school pick-up, up to 4 days/ week (2-4 hours, between 3-7pm), Tuesday to Friday 3. available up to 5 weekends/ year, mostly during school holidays (spread through the year, with individual shifts 2 to 8 hours each) 4. available up to 20 week nights/year, mostly during school holidays (individual shifts 2-4 hours each, between 5pm- 8am). 5. Looking after & play with him, activities like painting, cleaning, tidying and packing up at end of each session, prepare his snacks, lunch etc 6. light cleaning related to childcare eg spills etc (we have separate, regular professional cleaners coming in every fortnight) 7. drive him, or public transport to & from school and for outings, Job requirements: 1. Minimum 12 month commitment 2. Flexible with session times 3. Driver’s License (or willing to obtain) 4. WWCC, Police check, ID 5. ABN (or willing to obtain) and Invoices 6. Hello :) We are a family with two children: a boy aged 8 and a girl aged 5, living in Fitzroy with the children in school in North Fitzroy. We are looking for an experienced babysitter or nanny with a car who could look after the children and basic household tasks from ~3-6.30pm up to 5 days per week. This would involve: - School pickup at at 3.15pm in North Fitzroy, - Taking the children to after school activities nearby on some days (judo & piano) - Cooking simple meals - Keeping the house tidy (cleaning not required) Our children are easy going, love to read and draw, and to play and listen to music. They both eat everything and have no allergies, dietary requirements, or health issues. The only strict requirement is zero screen time.
